Steve Sansweet, the former Head of Fan Relations for Lucasfilm, is the owner of the largest private collection of Star Wars merchandise and art on the planet (as verified by the Guinness Book of World Records). His collection is housed at Rancho Obi-Wan, a non-profit museum in Petaluma, California that Sansweet founded and continues to head. The 10,000 square foot space in which the collection sits is no longer enough. Rancho Obi-Wan just leased an additional 3,500 square foot warehouse, which Sansweet hopes will allow him to properly inventory the collection.
